Adult Developmental Vocational Program (ADVP)
The Adult Developmental Vocational Program (ADVP) is a long-term program that provides pre-vocational, recreational and community inclusions to maximize the potential of individuals enrolled.
ADVP Admission Criteria
The individual must be 16 years or older, have a developmental disability and not be a danger to themselves or others.
Innovations-Day Supports
HVO is an approved Medicaid provider offering opportunities for individuals needing more individualized support through the Innovations Program.
The Innovations Program provides opportunities and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These individuals must meet specific eligibility criteria in order to be served by the program.
Haywood Vocational Opportunities provides day support services to eligible participants. These services are designed to assist the participants with the aquisition, retention, and/or improvement areas such as self-help, socialization, adaptive skills, and prevocational training. Participants in the program are paired with a trainer that assists with meeting their individual goals. Depending upon their needs, participants receive individual (1:1) or group (1:2 or more) Day Support Services.
Innovations Admission Criteria
Individuals must receive Innovations Services and have goals written into their Individualized Support Plan for Day Supports.
Learning and Enrichment Program (L&E)
The Learning and Enrichment Program provides an opportunity to participate in recreation and leisure activities to individuals that are unable to, choose not to, or do not want to work full-time in our employment enterprise. These opportunities can take place within the facility or outside the facility. Individuals may participate in a full-time or part-time status.
L&E Admission Criteria
Must be 35 years of age or older, have a developmental disability and not a danger to themselves or others.
